A thank-you note to the Treasury Department

Some background: On Wednesday, Rep. Peter King asked the U.S. Treasury Department to put Wikileaks on its Blocked Persons List. That list is mainly used against "terrorists and narcotics traffickers," and would prohibit any U.S. company from doing business with them. Today, the Treasury Department quite sanely refused.

I decided to email them a thank-you note, since I'm sure the Treasury Department does not get enough of those. The text of my email is below. (I added a hyperlink to the story in The Hill, but other than that, it is unaltered.)

If you would like to send one of your own, you should write the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). They can be reached by email at ofac_feedback@do.treas.gov.
